The company Terni Grandi Impianti has acquired, with a deed stipulated in Milan at the Office of Notary Francesco Sapia, all the shares of the company TerniEnergia Progetti operating in the renewable energy sector.

The transferred company is one of the main players in the sector, has operated in Italy and abroad as a leading company by building over 500 MW of photovoltaic systems and has high levels of expertise in the energy sector.

Vincenzo Peponi, director of Terni Grandi Impianti, stated: “We have acquired a company that has been and is an Italian industrial excellence destined to become great again. We have verified both the conditions and the trend of the photovoltaic market, as well as the growth potential of TerniEnergia and therefore our commitment to an important relaunch is decisive and concrete. In this sense, we proceeded, immediately after the purchase, to increase the share capital to one million two hundred thousand euros, fully paid, to renew the Board of Directors and to move the headquarters to Terni. Important construction sites are already underway in Italy.”

The new industrial plan is expected soon. The new board of directors is made up of Spartaco Franconi, Chairman, Vincenzo Peponi, vice Chairman, Laura Neri, CEO.
